CDOBC ‘YOUNG AT HEART’ SENIORS MINISTRY
Mission Statement: To minister to seniors through Christian fellowship, education, and enrichment. And to provide opportunities to invite guests.
FELLOWSHIP: Our Senior Ministry enjoys getting together for events and outings. They enjoy meals together. They may see a play or a movie or take a day trip out of the city. Our seniors are encouraged to invite others (of any age) to join us for these events and outings.

THE BARNABAS BUNCH: Provides support to our church family who cannot participate in the activities or worship services at CDOBC on a regular basis due to health concerns.

February 12: Barleens Season’s Best Variety Show. This show has the best acts of the season as decided by this season’s audiences. Lunch and show are $49 per person. Doors open at 11:15 a.m., meal 12:00 p.m., show at 1:00 p.m. 40 seats have been reserved. Carpooling can be arranged.
February 26: Oro Valley Art Tours are two hours long, and begin and end at the Oro Valley Marketplace, at Charred Pie on Wednesdays and Hoppy Vine on Sundays. Participants will be accompanied by a trained tour guide and will visit more than 20 locations around Oro Valley to see dozens of pieces of public art. The tour includes a restroom break and a 20-minute stop at the Oro Valley Hospital to explore impressive collections of art, both indoors and outdoors. This trip is free of charge and limited to 14 people, so sign up soon!

March 22: The Dutton AZ Experience Concert in Mesa, AZ followed by dinner out in the PHX area.
April 11: A visit to St. Anthony’s Monastery and lunch in the Florence area.
April 27: Gaslight Music Hall for Songs of the 60’s by the Tributaries. This show will be at 6:00 p.m. and cost $23/person.
May 9: Senior Ministry Fellowship Luncheon – International.
June 18: Mt. Lemmon Picnic and Play!
June 22: Gaslight Music Hall for Peter, Paul, and Mary. This show will be at 6:00 p.m. and cost $23/person.
August 22: A visit to Ignite Museum and lunch out.
September 12: Senior Ministry Luncheon – Africa.
November 14: A Visit to Rooster Cogburn Ostrich ranch in Picacho Peak, lunch out after.
December 12: Senior Ministry Luncheon – Toyland.
