When I was a child my family would sporadically attend Christmas and Easter services at an Episcopalian church. I believed in God but I did not know or understand that there was anything beyond that. I grew up a child of the world and made bad choices because of my ignorance of God’s word. When my first husband died suddenly my cousin invited me to her church. It was there that I learned the truth of God’s amazing grace and forgiveness for sinners. I realized that I was a sinner and I desperately needed Jesus. I called out to Him, asked for forgiveness, and accepted Him as my Lord and Savior.
